Did Vajpayee’s absence effect BJP?

I have been posting on various forums/discussions boards especially media based sites. Many of my posts were not published dues to editorial reasons. I do not blame them. They reserve the right to air/block third party views.

I want to exercise my rights too.
Right to express my views and — accept others views too.
I'll do it here —

Recently, I replied to a topic posted by a news channel. (see blog title)
My reply didn't make it on their page — here's my view;

► Yes, perhaps in a certain way. People still identify Vajpayee with BJP's central identity — His absence, suffered party's ethos.

Replying to a question by NDTV on what went wrong: in fact, one journalist from the channel asked — is it not right to say that, BJP turned this election into a misfortune? To which, Sushma Swaraj replied that — it's still premature to comment and, the party will ponder over it.
(Strange!)

Party’s prime ministerial cut-out remarked that — election results completely took them by surprise!
(Strange Again!)

Then why, I and so many others did not have to predict the result six months back? Almost everyone knew (or had this blunt hunch) that, Congress will be the ruling party with Dr. Singh chairing the cabinet. I personally, wasn’t keen to delve into other configurations AND — I’m not a die-hard Fan of the Congress.

BJP’s denial of, under-evaluating its own voters, is a clear reflection of theological dysentery within the party — how can he say that, the results surprised them? Are they trying to hint that, people conspired against them?

What happened to Advani’s vociferous concerns — “videsho me rakha kala-dhan, wapas desh me laayenge” — “will bring all black money from abroad.”

Why it took more than five years to say this? He could have actually done this when he was in power!

Anyways, I’m happy that election results gave its piece of mind to the exit polls. Follow traffic rules before crossing the road — see Left, see Right and walk the Centre.

The UPA / NDA seat difference crossed a century.
